Odyssey 2 Games For Sale

     The Magnavox Odyssey 2 was introduced in 1978.  A great game for its time, it allowed you to play games using joysticks and its interactive computer-like keyboard.  The graphics and sound of the Odyssey 2 are way to primitive for today's generation of game players whose very first video games are the likes of the PS2 and  the X-Box.  However,  this classic game system is a delight to small children who want to play video games, but can't because of the complex nature of today's gaming systems.  My 3 year old nephew has to be torn away from this game just to eat because he is so addicted to the fun it provides!

     Later on Magnavox introduced an add-on component to the Odyssey 2 called "The Voice".  This add-on allowed the user to play voice-enhanced games that were introduced into the Odyssey 2 family.  These voice games need "The Voice" add-on in order to take advantage of the voice-enhancements of the cartridge, but can be played on the regular system with the regular sound effects that the other cartridges have. 

     Below is a list of game cartridges for the Odyssey 2 that I have for sale.  All cartridges have been cleaned and tested and are guaranteed to work.  Due to the age of these games (almost 25 years old!),  these games are not in mint condition. They may have some very minor cosmetic flaws (scuffs, scratches etc)  All cartridges are loose and do not come with the original boxes.  I have some boxes, but they are in poor condition.  I do not have any systems for sale, but you can find them from time to time on Ebay.

Odyssey 2 "The Voice"

Later on Magnavox introduced an add-on component to the Odyssey 2 called "The Voice".  This add-on allowed the user to play voice-enhanced games that were introduced into the Odyssey 2 family.  These voice games need "The Voice" add-on in order to take advantage of the voice-enhancements of the cartridge, but you can play regular games using "The Voice", it's just the sound will come out of the TV as normal instead of the unit.. 

I have one "The Voice" unit now for sale.  The unit is in excellent condition, sounds well and other than a few very minor cosmetic blemishes, it almost looks brand new.  I do have an original box and original instructions for "The Voice", but the box is not in the same stellar condition the unit is.  I picked up the box to go with the unit, but it does not contain the original Styrofoam or plastic wrapping the unit was originally packaged in.  Also the inside of the box is not exactly "mint" either. 

However, the price of "The Voice" is strictly based on the unit itself and not the packaging of the original box.  The unit will be wrapped in heavy bubble wrap for extra protection and I will even include insurance if USPS delivery is preferred.  The package weighs roughly 4 lbs. Sega Nomad For Sale

 

This is the portable hand held game made by Sega that allows you to play almost any Sega Genesis ever made.  I originally bought this game to take with me to Hawaii almost 10 years ago to occupy myself for the long flight.  Needless to say, after the trip, the Nomad has been sitting around all these years and has hardly been touched.  The game is in perfect condition. 

The unit comes with the original box, plus as an added bonus, I am also including 2 new replacement screens (in case you need to replace the viewing screen in the future) and a Sega Brand AC adapter (since the game itself goes thru batteries pretty quickly).  Check out the thumbnail pictures below. 

(Note: The game in picture 3 is not included with the Nomad. This is just to demonstrate the unit is in perfect working condition.)

With this versatile handheld game, you can also attach a Sega Genesis controller for 2 player games, hook up the unit for TV play with the proper AV cord and RF unit, or attach a car adapter to the cigarette lighter to keep the kids entertained on those long car trips.  These items I do not have, but you can find them fairly easily.
